The Six Pillars of Faith in Islam

The pillars of Faith in Islam are six: belief in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, Judgment and Decree. It is good and evil.
Definition of Faith
Faith is ratification and reassurance, and it is a security material in the language, in which the language books have expanded in an expansion that satisfies the researcher’s understanding. In legal terminology, it is belief in Allah, Faith in His angels, and belief in His books. Trust in His Messenger, trust in the Last Day, and believe in predestination; it is good and evil. These six matters are the ones on which the soul’s orbit and thinking, in its present and future matter, in the affairs of this world’s life, and what is suitable for money in it, and in the future that is expected to happen in this worldly life, or what will happen after death and when resurrection and resurrection.
And when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about the meaning of Faith, he said: To believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and to believe in predestination, its good and its evil. (Narrated by Muslim and Al-Bukhari).
Pillars of Faith in Islam
Belief in Allah Almighty
It is the firm belief in the existence of Allah, the Highest, as Lord, Allah, and Deity, one who has no partner, and Faith in His Names and Attributes that were mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet without distorting their meanings or likening them to the attributes of His creation, conditioning or disruption. We find that belief in Allah is through reflection on the universe and the soul. And we guided the verses and knew the necessity of Faith in Allah Almighty. We show us, but rather a tight proof and a provision on the unity of the Creator, the Exalted, the Majestic,﴿ We will show them our verses in the horizons, and their souls until they will be blessed to them.
Belief in angels
What is meant by belief in angels is the firm belief that Allah created the angels from light while they existed, that they obeyed Allah as He commanded them, and that they carry out their duties that Allah commanded them to perform.
Belief in the divine books
This means that we believe in the books that Allah revealed to his prophets and messengers. Among these books are what Allah Almighty called in the Noble Qur’an, some of which are not named. Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Ala: So the Torah is for our master Moses, the Bible is for our master Jesus, the Psalms are for our master David, the scriptures are for our master Ibrahim, and the Qur’an is the eternal miracle of our master Muhammad, peace be upon him.
Belief in prophets and messengers
It is the belief in whom Allah Almighty named in His Book of His messengers and prophets, the belief that Allah Almighty sent messengers besides them, and prophets whose number and names only Allah Almighty knows.
Allah Almighty mentioned in the Holy Qur’an twenty-five prophets and messengers: Adam, Noah, Idris, Salih, Abraham, Hod, Lot, Yunus, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Shuaib, Moses, Aaron, Elisha, Dhul-Kifl David, Zakaria, Solomon, Elias, Yahya, Jesus, Muhammad, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon them all. These messengers and prophets must believe in their message and prophethood. Belief in the Messengers is the fourth pillar of Faith, and the belief of the servant is not valid except by believing in them. From the prophetic definition of faith, as in the hadith of Gabriel: (To believe in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers.) Narrated by Muslim. The verses are evidence of the necessity of belief in the Messengers, and its status in the religion of Allah Almighty, and before discussing that, it is worth mentioning the definition of both the Messenger and the Prophet, and clarifying the difference between them. The Messenger is the one who was sent down to him a book, an independent law, and a miracle that proves his prophecy, and Allah commanded him to invite his people to worship Allah. As for the Prophet, he is the one to whom no book was revealed, but rather it was revealed to him that he should call his people to the law of a messenger before him, like the prophets of the Children of Israel who prayed to the law of Moses and what is in the Torah. Accordingly, every Messenger is a prophet and not every Prophet is a messenger. Just as the believer must believe in all of them, whoever disbelieves in one of them becomes a disbeliever because they all call to one law, which is the worship of Allah.
Belief in the Last Day
It means belief in everything that Allah Almighty and His Messenger told us of what will happen after death, such as the trial, torment and bliss of the grave, the Resurrection, the Resurrection, the Books, the Account, the Balance, the Basin, the Path, the Intercession, Heaven and Hell, and what Allah has prepared for all of them.
Belief in the Decree and the Decree is reasonable, and it isn’t good
The Creator of good and evil is Allah Almighty, so everything in existence, good and evil, is by the decree of Allah Almighty.
The good deeds of the servants are by the estimation of Allah Almighty and His love and pleasure. As for the evil deeds of the servants, they are so by the measure of Allah, but not with His love or approval. Belief in predestination is one of the pillars of Faith. Evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah indicates its proof and acceptance. On it is the hadith of Gabriel and his question to the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, about the pillars of Faith, so he said: {Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day, and to believe in predestination, its good and its evil.} Narrated by Muslim.
