RAMADAN KHATMA
(Recitation of the whole Quraan During Ramadan)
A collective program for reading the Holy Quran daily during the Holy month of Ramadan, with the aim of completing the Qur’an by the end of Ramadan.
Target group: All who able to read can join.
Duration of the program: 29 days.
Program times: Every day until ending the Quran.
The number of attendees: from 5 to 10 students.
The language used: (Arabic – English – French).
Program content: Each Halaqa we will read and correct all reading mistakes of the Juzu’.
The Holy Qur’an was revealed by Allah to the Prophet Mohamed (Peace be Upon him) in the last ten days of the Holy month of Ramadan-
Allah, the Almighty said (The month of Ramadan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.)- Specifically At Lailat al-Qader ( the Night of Power) -Allah, the Almighty said ( We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power)
The Objectives of the Programme
1- Obtaining the profitable trade described by Allah in His saying (“Verily, those who recite the Book of Allah, and perform the Salah, and spend out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, they hope for a (sure) trade-gain that will never perish”.) which will help us to earn good deeds, wipe away evil deeds from us and obtain the high ranks in the World ain the Hereafter.
2- Reading Quran one of the Deeds that lead to Paradise: Quran intercedes its reciters on the Day of Resurrection. the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, “Read the Qur’an, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection.”
3- Qur’an recitation also leads he peace of mind, a feeling of satisfaction and calmness, and get rid of concerns and griefs, As Allah, the Almighty said: “Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction”
